The Independent Tribune has unveiled its highly anticipated rankings of the top six football teams in Cabarrus County heading into the 2024 season.
Cream of the Crop: Hickory Ridge
Hickory Ridge remains the top-ranked team in the county after their impressive victory over West Cabarrus. The Braves' Riley, an AP preseason All-America selection, will unfortunately miss the rest of the regular season due to injury.
Offense Fuels Brown's Fifth-Place Ranking
A.L. Brown's offense has been a consistent force, helping them secure the fifth spot in the rankings. The Wolverines' defense, however, has struggled at times.
