Belgium got their World Cup campaign off to a winning start with a 1-0 victory over Canada in their opening Group F match.
Thorgan Hazard gave Belgium the lead in the 44th minute, before Romelu Lukaku doubled the advantage in the 80th minute.
However, it was De Bruyne’s goal that was the pick of the bunch. The Manchester City midfielder picked up the ball on the right-hand side of the box and curled it into the top corner from outside the box.
It was a stunning goal from De Bruyne, who is one of the best midfielders in the world.
The win gives Belgium a great start to their World Cup campaign and will give them confidence ahead of their next match against Morocco on Sunday.
